Simpatico

It was a girls night out last night and in typical fashion we solved all the problems of the world with lots of laughter.

We started at The Lark in Given Terrace, Paddington and moved up to Simpatico for dinner. The Lark was beautifully cosy and dimly lit. Anyone is going to look great there! We shared a bottle of wine upstairs and relaxed on the lounges.

Simpatico was busy so we sat outside with heaters to keep us warm. The food was full of flavour and everything exceeded our expectations. I'll be dreaming about it for ages.

Here's the list - (it sounds piggy but the dishes are only small and all were shared)
Roast duck breast with a parsnip purée and citrus braised endive
Slow roasted pork belly
Wild mushroom risotto with goats curd
Braised beef cheek a potato gratin
Thinly cut chippies

Where are the photos? Sorry too busy eating and laughing but we did like it as the one photo I took shows!

Bottom line: Got to say I've never been disappointed in a meal here.
