Breakfast out of Brisbane

Người đăng: Unknown vào lúc 19:28
So the weekend is looming and you're thinking about fleeing the city for a spot of brekkie in the country!

Nothing like a bit of fresh, country air to clear the cobwebs and start off a fabulous day.

Here are a few of my faves

Mount Nebo/Mount Glorious
There are two great breakfast spots in this direction - Cafe Boombana and Mt Glorious Restaurant Cafe

Both offer food that is cooked on premise with a bit of local charm and views. From the deck at Mt Glorious Cafe you can see for miles - maybe even the Moreton sandhills!

Mount Tamborine
Mountain Larder Deli on Mount Tamborine has a great selection of food for a picnic lunch and, best of all, they'll made you up a hamper and rent you plates, knives, glasses you need as well in one handy pack.

Mount Mee
I've only been to Birches for afternoon tea but I love the atmosphere here.  If breakfast is anything like afternoon tea it would be well worth trying.

Mount Mee is only a short drive (about an hour depending on where you start) from Brisbane and you're in rolling green hills dotted with cows.  There are great views from the crests.

We like to make this trip on the motor bike.

Canungra
If you are heading up to Tamborine but want breakfast on the way, The Outpost Cafe at Canungra does a very filling breakfast.  It's basic but the food is okay.
