Tastes of Gold Coast 2010 unites food producers, chefs, restaurants, wine and beverage makers of the Gold Coast and its Hinterland from August 26 until Sunday 5 September.
There are lots of great events that will appeal to locals and visitors alike.
What: Tastes of Tedder
When: August 26-29 from 6pm – 10pm on Tedder Ave
Festival goers can sample tasting plates of signature dishes of participating restaurants matched with wine for under $15 per plate. Lve music will roam the streets on the Thursday night.
What: Cocktail Trail
When: August 26 – September 5
Tamborine Mountain Distillery has joined forces with some of the Gold Coast’s best mixologists to create stunning cocktails especially for the festival. Try one, try them all! Follow the trail and discover these liquid gold treats!

When: Thursday, Friday & Saturday Nights - August 26-28 Sept 2-4 from 8pm
Where: 1/88 Surf Parade, Broadbeach
Satisfy the sweet tooth with a sumptuous chocolate dessert or cocktail at East, the late night festival venue.
What: Little Truffle Decadent Degustation Dinner
When: September 1 from 7pm
Where: Gold Coast Hwy, Mermaid Beach
Head chef and Tastes of Gold Coast Ambassador Daniel Ridgeway, will serve up an amazing degustation menu, showcasing his new restaurant and his signature dishes. $125 per person and bookings on 5526 5033
What: Barefoot and Black Tie (enter via Stage Door...)
When: Thurs Sept 2 from 7.30pm – 10.30pm
Where: Stage Door, Gold Coast Arts Centre, 135 Bundall Rd, Surfers Paradise
Step through stage door at the Arts Centre into an oasis. Enjoy champagne and fine food, entertainment features Katie Noonan. Strictly Black Tie only! Tickets: $135pp and bookings on 07 5588 4000.
What: 3 Chefs Do Lunch
When: Sept 4 from 10.30am
Where: 135 Bundall Rd, Surfers Paradise
Simon Grigalius (MYLK - My Little Kitchen), Brian Meade (The Arts Centre Gold Coast), and Paul Smart (Room 81 Sofitel Broadbeach) create a magnificent degustation menu. Tickets are $120.00 each with bookings on 07 5588 4000.
What: Eurofest
When: September 4th from 11am – 7pm at Neil Shannon Park, Surfers Paradise
A fantastic fiesta of food, culture, colour and traditional music that will see Surfers Paradise transformed into a mini Europe for the day, celebrating all the things that make Europe such an assault on your senses – the culture, the flavours and the sounds!
What: Kids in The Kitchen
When: September 5th from 10am – 12pm at Chevron Island
Kids, come and cook up a storm for Dad on Fathers Day! Bring the whole family for a breakfast picnic on Chevron Island and make an edible Fathers Day card for Dad and win some great prizes for the best design. There will be music, face painting and potato sack races. FREE! BYO picnic.
