If you are looking for something to do this weekend it would be hard to go past this combination of two of my favourite things, Ruffles Lodge and Symphony Hill Wines.Ruffles has a gourmet food and wine weekend package that will showcase Symphony Hill Wines with a talk by owners Ewen and Elissa Macpherson.
Wines will be matched to a seven course degustation dinner on Saturday night featuring fine food prepared by Ruffles Chef, Nerys Kinnaird.
Nerys is a fabulous cook who always brings out the best in the ingredients she uses. Everything tastes just that little bit extra good.
Ruffles has a range of accommodation perched on the Gold Coast hinterland escarpment. The views are outstanding and the whole place has a wonderful feeling of peace and tranquillity that quickly gets into your bones. You'll feel like royalty staying there as everything is 'just so' and so well done.
Find it at the end of Ruffles Road at Willow Vale, not far off the Gold Coast Highway. It's near the Golden Door health retreat.
