Most foodies I know would give their eye teeth, well maybe not their eye teeth as that might make eating a little uncomfortable, but surely a significant body part if they could meet the bad boy of cuisine, Anthony Bourdain.
Well this is as close as most of us are going to get - an evening of outrageous commentary about the world of food, celebrity chefs and restaurants, and stories from his adventures during his Australian visit as a guest of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.
Bourdain will give a 90 minute presention covering his take on where to find good food, and why “traveling fearlessly on one’s stomach,” is the quickest entry into a culture and the best way to get to know a people.
The evening will conclude with an audience Q&A session where the chef will take your questions. All is fair game.
Unfortunately he's not coming to Brisbane, so hot foot it to Sydney or Melbourne.
