Learn to cook like a master chef

Budding chefs can learn some of Spicers Clovelly Estate’s culinary secrets in a series of cooking classes to be hosted by head chef Cameron Matthews.

Cameron runs The Long Apron restaurant at Spicers Clovelly and will show you how to prepare wonderful French and Italian style dishes two Saturdays a month from 10am to 3pm. Cooking lessons cost $165 each and cater for six to eight guests and include lunch, wine, full recipes, tips pack and a branded apron to take home.

Lessons dates: December 4 (Italian); December 18 (French); January 8 (French); January 18 (Italian), February 12 (French); February 26 (Italian)
    Cameron was Executive Chef de Cuisine at Siggi’s Restaurant in Brisbane, Executive Chef of Restaurant Lurleen’s at the Sirromet Winery in Mount Cotton and honed his skills overseas before heading The Long Apron.

    Spicers Clovelly is set on nine hectares of lush country land within easy reach of Noosa and Mooloolaba and just 90 minutes from Brisbane. The estate is part of  Spicers Retreats Hotels and Lodges owned by Flight Centre Limited founder and managing director Graham Turner and his wife Jude.
