What goes perfectly with a great cup of coffee? Merlo's new cupcake designed by Judy C!
It's a wonderful combination of moist, dense chocolate sponge cake with a coffee icing piled on top. Completing the cupcake is a topping of crunchy crushed choc coated coffee beans. The contrast between the soft icing, sponge cake and crunchy choc beans is a delight.

Merlo is one of Brisbane's premier coffee roasters. The first Bar Merlo was established in Queen Street, Brisbane in 1992 and three years later, the Merlo Coffee Torrefazione (Italian coffee roasting house) was opened in Fortitude Valley. They import high grade green beans from Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Kenya, Brazil and New Guinea and roast every 24 hours.
